About
Experience
I have both the education and the hands on experience necessary to be a Platte County Commissioner. I have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA in Finance. I worked in a corporate setting for over 20 years and now run my own small business. I served on the City of Parkville Planning and Zoning Commission for 4 years before being elected as an Alderwoman in 2023.
Committment
I am a servant leader, committed to the betterment of Platte County, the Northland, and greater Kansas City. I have an in-depth understanding of the issues facing Platte County and the experience required to address them effectively.

Family
My husband, Scott, and I reside in the Thousand Oaks neighborhood. We have two teenage daughters who attend Park Hill schools. We enjoy golfing and traveling together, plus watching our girls participate in numerous activities around the Northland.
Community
I moved to Platte County in 2008 and have been active in the community since. I served on the Union Chapel PTA Board for many years, and then the Thousand Oaks Homeowner’s Association Board. I volunteer with local swim teams, school committees, and at a variety of community events.
